Portland Audio is an independent audio studio just a stone’s throw from Oxford Circus. Looking out over the West End skyline, our space is light, bright, friendly and comfortable.
Offering spacious studios, each with it’s own dedicated voice booth, we can accommodate all your project needs. From voice record through sound design to final mix, for whatever format you need.
Whether you spend 2 hours or 2 weeks with us we will make sure you feel at home in our colourful, creative and welcoming space.
Our studios are also available to other sound mixers for dry hire. For folks who want a break from their remote studio, and appreciate a relaxed and un-stuffy space for voice records, mixes & client review sessions, right in the heart of the West End.
Claire Bilyard
With over 20 years of experience as a sound designer & mixer in studios across Soho; Claire is passionate about original, honest, weird and wonderful audio.
Claire records character voices for a variety of animation series, and is lead sound designer and mixer on Happy Town for Sky Kids, as well as many other animation projects.
She creates vivid soundscapes for commercial, broadcast & social projects from The Amazing World of Gumball to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, via Coca Cola, Pokemon & Weetabix. If you have 17 different languages to wrangle, all the better.
Quick, creative and capable, Claire brings vast experience, enthusiasm and an open mind to programming, promos and presentations of all kinds.
